Club Championships Update
The new year is off to a good start. Our dam level is looking good and the club is buzzing.
We saw a total of 12 boats competing in this month’s club sailing champs with the weather delivering yet another perfect performance. The racing started at 2pm and we had 2 keelboats, 2 multi-hulls and 8 dinghies cross the start. We also re-introduced Sunday racing and had an equal amount of boats on the water. Well done to all who participated, it is great to see the numbers growing and a special thanx to TSA for coordinating efforts to make this a combined experience for young and old!
On the angling side we had poor weather conditions with the “bossie wind” making things difficult. Despite the setback we had 3 members competing for the biggest karp of the day. Well done to Shaun Waller who managed to take this round.
