With the dam levels at a healthy 40% for this time of the year, we are bringing back the annual TSC 9 Hour Challenge. Participants can expect some interesting weather conditions as racing will start at 9am and finish at 6pm which should allow for every possible variation that Theewaterskloof can offer.
South African Sailing has been offered two entries (one male team and one female team) for the Nations Cup Match Racing finals in San Francisco from 9 to 14 April 2019. The event will take place in the J22 class. This is an event in which we have been successful in the past and we feel it provides a unique opportunity to re-introduce this form of sailing into South Africa and to compete against the best in the world.
If there is one boat in front and one boat behind, there is a race on! Our club sailing championship kicked off on Saturday the 29th with round 1. Race briefing was at 2pm in the afdak and we started racing at 3pm.
