News from our Manager - July 2020

Club News - July 2020

As most of you are aware – our world has changed much more than we anticipated! Covid has changed a lot of what we do – and the way we do it. We are trying to keep up with the forever changing rules and Regulations – while still giving you the best possible experience when visiting the Club!

We have been battered by storms – leaving us without electricity and water for more than a week – and without Internet for more than two weeks! We have cleaned up most of the debris and repaired some of the destruction by bringing in skeleton staff.

A BIG thank you must go to the Farmer next door who lent us his Digger (free of charge) for a morning to remove the Stumps and roots of the blown over trees – we would not have been able to do it ourselves.

Due to the current situation and the impact it is having on economics, we are trying to keep the costs as low as possible – without letting our club deteriorate.

We ask of members to fix and repair as much as they can while on site – and prepare as there is still a storm or two on the horizon.

The dam is currently at 73% - and I am still of the opinion  that we will reach 90%.
