Sailing with the Academy in September
With the move to level two lock down, Theewater Sailing Academy is back on the water! For outdoors people like you and I, the past five months have been extremly difficult, but now it's time to get out into nature and enjoy life again.
At the time of writing, the Theewaterskloof Dam is 85.6% full and there are still numerous streams running down the mountain and into the dam. The Sports Club and surrounding farms are a lush green and as we move into spring the entire area is a site to behold!
We have set aside three weekends for sailing in September. To celebrate our return to sailing we will be running Spring specials on all sail training in September and hope that you will come and enjoy a weekend away sailing.
- Family sailing weekend - 12 & 13 September
- Adult sailing weekend - 19 & 20 September
- Youth sailing weekend - 24 to 26 September

If you're considering learning to sail and don't know what to expect from a Sailing Academy, you ought to set your expectations very high. A good certified Sailing Academy will be a whole lot of fun, often thrilling, thoroughly educational, and totally empowering.
Not all Sailing Academies will meet these high expectations, but SA Sailing Accredited Sailing Academies should. Expect your Sailing Academy to go beyond just teaching you the basics of sailing. The real value of a Sailing Academy lies in providing the skill, confidence, inspiration, and community that will serve as the foundation for a lifetime of sailing adventure.
Great Sailing Academies will attend to all these needs, giving students a complete sailing experience. Contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. today.
