TSC Community Watersport Program

The first session of our TSC Community watersports programme for 2021 was postponed due to bad weather. Fortunately the rain cleared we where able to reschedule the event which happened on Saturday the 9th of October 2021.

This year we welcomed 6 children from the Franschhoek community, including 3 boys and 3 girls. The first session was hosted by NSRI station 38 and included basic water safety training and a CPR demonstration. The children were shown various life saving techniques and were taken out on a powerboat to see some of the sights of our wonderful dam and scenic environment.

The second session is scheduled for 6 November 2021 where we will be teaching the group some basic swimming techniques.
